I have a passion for winemaking and wine activities; this is why I selected this professional path which has led me to learn and graduate in international wine marketing and winemaking. I hold a Master International Vintage from the Agribusiness University of Angers (France) as well as a Bachelor of Science degree in related subjects.
My personal strengths are my professionalism and integrity which have been demonstrated and recognised at each of my positions by the level of responsibilities which were given to me. I enjoy dealing with people and I communicate with ease at all hierarchical levels. I am also fluent in French (mother language), English, Spanish and have a basic understanding of Italian.
My circumstances allow me to travel and commit to time away from home..
Whilst studying, I pursued various work experiences to broaden my skills associated with sales and marketing, and moved to Australia in 2008 to gain exposure into management. My various travels and work exposures have helped me to develop very good communication skills to liaison with people and develop international contacts within the industry. I have also developed a maturity which gives me confidence and a professional approach to my work.
2010 - 2010- Development of the brand and image of “Citrus Restaurant” through professional awards, media (internet, newspaper…), partnership contracts (Hilton hotel, Mantra hotel…), development of “critics” dinners, and implementation of a strong database of regular customers (+18%) …
- Customer satisfaction :overview of the quality and consistency of the service and food
- Strategy : developed a business plan
- Staff management, supervision, hiring and training
- Budget : Cost Management , relationship with wine and food suppliers ,contract negotiation;
- Cost Control Management (weekly report, participation of shareholder board meeting, creation and improvement of the business plan, effected remedial action…)
2009 - 2009- In charge of all the wine supply: dealing with wholesalers and small producers, negotiating contracts, management of inventory and coordinating functions.
- Managing the organisation of wine tastings event, degustation dinners and special events held on the premises.
- Introduced new marketing tools: designed new wine list, created marketing flyers...
- Participating in all the board meetings in charge of staff training.
2009 - 2009- In charge of daily operation: staff management, weekly financial reports, wine ordering and inventory, negotiations with suppliers and relationship with the kitchen.
- Participation in the politic management of marketing and advertising strategies, organisation of special events and management of private functions.
- Development of sales through the implementation of new services to customers
2008 - 2008- Wine-making of dry and sweet white wines, traditional red wines, sparkling Shiraz and rosé wines.
- Management of port cellar: daily operation and “assemblage” of Muscat, Tokay and Port
- In charge of the cellar operations including crushing, pressing, fermentation management, barrel work, bottling and lab analysis
2007 - 2007- Management and development of 5 wine shops in Hanoi (Vietnam) and Phnom Penh (Cambodia)
- Development of new services for customers (hospitality, private sales, companies, Embassy, Big C…)
- Market study / new customer study / financial study / implementation of the marketing plan for our 800 wines coming from 16 different countries in order to open a top of the range new shop
